What it does
The SEPA QR generator turns the payment details you type in (recipient, IBAN, amount and a description) into a scannable QR code. Anyone can scan it with a supported banking app to pre-fill the transfer.
This tool is completely free and uses no credits. We never execute payments; you always confirm in your own banking app.
How to create one

Enter the details
Type the recipient name and IBAN, plus an optional amount and description so it is clear what the payment is for. Leave the amount blank for an open payment, such as a donation.

Press Create QR Code and the SEPA (EPC) QR code appears instantly on the right.

Download the code as PNG or SVG, copy the shareable payment link, or show the code on screen so someone can scan and pay.
Share it as a payment page
Every code you create also comes with a shareable payment link. Open it and you get a clean, branded payment page that shows the QR code together with the amount, IBAN and reference — perfect for clubs and associations collecting money from their members.
- Copy the payment link from the result panel and share it by WhatsApp, email, your website or a newsletter.
- Anyone who opens it can scan the QR code straight away or copy the IBAN to pay by hand.
- Use the Print button on the page to turn it into an A4 poster for a notice board.
Create the code without an amount and the payment page lets each person decide how much to pay — ideal for donations and free contributions.
Version 1 or version 2?
You can choose which version of the EPC standard to use:
- Version 2 (recommended) works with most modern banking apps and does not require a BIC.
- Version 1 requires a BIC. Choose it only if your banking app cannot scan version 2.
Paying with the code
Open your banking app, choose the option to scan a payment QR code, point it at the code and check the pre-filled details before confirming.
Most SEPA banking apps support these QR codes, but availability differs per bank. If one version will not scan, try the other.
